Do you want to be part of something that will truly advance Czech industry? We are looking for creative, ambitious, and courageous people who want to change the world!
If you have experience with technology, are quick-witted, have graduated from or are currently studying at a technical university, we have a great opportunity for you. We are looking for a colleague who will become an expert playing a key role in the development and optimization of laser drone shooting and much more. This position requires the ability to think comprehensively, and experience working with laser systems is an advantage.
Maybe you will be the one to take us further!
"We are looking for someone who is not afraid of technical challenges and wants to participate in the development of cutting-edge laser technologies for the defense industry. If you are interested in lasers, experiments, and innovations with a real impact on security, I would be happy to welcome you to the team."
Ing. Jan Brajer, Ph.D.
Head of Department: Industrial Laser Applications, Deputy Head for Science and Technology
What will fill your calendar:
- Monitoring and analysis of global trends in laser systems for air defense, especially technologies designed to neutralize UAVs. You will evaluate the parameters, performance, tactical use, and limitations of foreign solutions and process related research
- Preparation of technical documentation and presentations for the internal development team and industrial partners. This will include a structured summary of findings, proposed recommendations, and conclusions for the future direction of the project
- Collaboration on the design of a custom laser solution – from the conceptual phase, through the definition of key parameters, to participation in the design of experimental configurations
- Calculations, modeling, and creation of experimental methodologies, including the design of test scenarios, data evaluation, and active participation in the development of theoretical models of laser interaction with the target
- Work in a modern laser laboratory, where you will prepare experiments, set up laser systems, and test various materials and scenarios. The practical part will reward you with the best the field has to offer—the opportunity to see the results of your work in real time and participate in the development of technologies that have a real impact
- Equipment operation: control and maintenance of advanced laser systems, ensuring precise control over parameters to achieve the desired results
- Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including laser engineers
We are looking for someone with the following competencies and skills:

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present complex technical information (Czech + English)
You will receive extra points for:
- Experience with lasers
- Experience with programming and AI
